Coolness - The pure elegance of freedom
"Cool" and "coolness" - everyday trendy words that each of us drops in our conversations. Imprecisely and vaguely, "cool" is attached to everything earthly without being aware of its true character. But what actually is "cool"? What exactly does it mean to be "cool" and how does the big term "coolness" become tangible?
Michael Köckritz, editor-in-chief and creative director of the lifestyle magazines "ramp" and "rampstyle", has taken a close look at the longing concept of "coolness" and created an entertaining research project that takes a closer look at its facets. His coffee table book "Coolness" is a homage to the casual elegance of freedom and an entertainingly inspiring and creative journey of discovery. Michael Köckritz illuminates icons, researches stories and talks to interdisciplinary experts about backgrounds and historical developments.
"Coolness" - The Multimedia Pop-Up Exhibition
To accompany the launch of his book, Michael Köckritz is presenting a multimedia pop-up exhibition at the Porsche Brandstore Stuttgart from 2 to 28 February 2023.
