New photo exhibition "Hawai'i" by Olaf Heine in Berlin

Berlin, April 20, 2024 - Berlin's art scene is preparing for the opening of an extraordinary photography exhibition showcasing the work of renowned photographer Olaf Heine. From April 20 to June 1, 2024, the exhibition "Hawai'i" will be on display at Berlin's Camera Work Gallery, showing over 40 monochrome and partly large-format works from Heine's long-running series "Hawai'i". This conceptual series is the result of years of photographic exploration of the Hawaiian island chain, which Heine has captured in an unprecedented variety.
Signing session with Olaf Heine
Olaf Heine will be present in person at the opening of the exhibition on April 20 and will hold a public signing session at 3 pm. This will take place as part of the Berlin Gallery Weekend, whereby the gallery will remain open regularly on Friday until around 6 pm and will be open to the public again after a short break at 8 pm.
The coffee table book "Hawai'i" was published by teNeues Verlag in March. The exhibition complements and expands the book and offers visitors the opportunity to understand Heine's profoundly composed narratives and his observations of Hawaii, which he artfully captured as an "essayist of our time".

On April 27, Heine will host another book signing from 1 to 3 p.m. in cooperation with the renowned bookstore "Bücherbogen" in Berlin, where art lovers and fans will have the opportunity to meet the artist in person and purchase signed copies of his latest work.
This exhibition promises to be an in-depth experience that will delight art lovers as well as photography connoisseurs and newcomers alike.
