"Fashion, styles and stories": Competition for students

"Fashion, styles and stories": Competition for students

As part of our new illustrated book series "Fashion, Styles and Stories", we are organising an exclusive competition for students.

Our aim is to bring young expertise and fresh perspectives from up-and-coming talents to our publishing house. For the participants, this is an exciting opportunity to showcase their creative skills and the chance to be immortalised in a renowned publication.

The winners can actively contribute to the design of one of our fashion books and are listed as fashion experts in the imprint - a potential milestone for their professional career and a valuable entry on their CV, supported by the renowned teNeues publishing house. It is also possible that the winner is not only mentioned by name in the masthead, but also linked to their personal website or social media profile.

The competition focuses on our illustrated books "The Black Book" and "The Pink Book", which will be published in April.

Our requirements:

- Your own interpretation of our fashion titles "The Black Book" and "The Pink Book", which will be published in April, in the form of a creative mood board or collage

- Creativity knows no bounds: It is important to explore and interpret the colours black and/or pink yourself

- The idea of the colour meaning of black and/or pink should be taken up creatively and placed in a personal or fashion-historical context

- The realisation should take place on a visual level. Supplementary texts are welcome but not obligatory. The form of design is up to the participants, whether analogue or digital

- It is also important that the participating students sign a document authorising us to use the resulting designs. Of course, the students will always be named as the source

Conditions of participation:

- The closing date for entries is 19 April 2024

- Participation only as an enrolled student

- Ideally based in the Düsseldorf area, although the collaboration can also take place digitally

- The submission should be digital: The easiest way is to upload the creation to your own social media channel. Alternatively, the design can also be sent to us by email: sales@teneues.com

- An image rights form authorising the use of the designs must be signed and also sent to sales@teneues.com

If you have any questions or require further information, please contact Esther Caspers, Junior Sales Manager, at ecaspers@teneues.com.

We look forward to innovative ideas and wish you every success!
