Mitja Borkert, renowned head of design at Lamborghini, celebrated the recap launch event for the coffee table book "The Lamborghini Book" together with ramp publisher and editor-in-chief Michael Köckritz. On 1 August, Michael Köckritz invited guests to a meet & greet with the Lamborghini chief designer at the OhJulia restaurant in Stuttgart.
Together with numerous guests, not only was the 60th birthday of the Italian sports car brand toasted, but Michael Köckritz's illustrated book was also celebrated as a homage to the brand. At the launch event, chief designer Mitja Borkert visibly presented the vision of brand founder Ferrucio Lamborghini that had come true: a yellow Lamborghini Miura parked in front of the OhJulia.
Together, Mitja Borkert and Michael Köckritz signed numerous illustrated books. A special experience were the spontaneously created sketches by chief designer Mitja Borkert. The drawings of his sports cars gave the guests a unique insight into the exciting work as chief designer of Lamborghini.
Written about the history of the noble brand, the book is a monumental anniversary illustrated book and approaches the super sports car brand on a highly emotional level. In over 300 pages, the volume delivers thrilling insights into the birth of the brand, the evolution of Lamborghini over the decades, from the groundbreaking 350 GTV to the stunning brand new Revuelto. With great attention to detail, the ramp editorial team has staged a literary showcase of the most important Lamborghini models, such as the Lamborghini Countach, the Lamborghini Aventador or the Lamborghini 350 GT, with this coffee table book.
The Coffee Table Book honours Lamborghin as the true legend in the automotive world. The exclusive coffee table book is not only a holistic tribute to the brand, but also shows its immense influence on automotive history and modern pop culture. With their combination of design, performance and exclusivity, Lamborghini cars are more than just a means of transport - they are an expression of a lifestyle and a passion for driving.
