Lost in the Beauty of Bad Weather - Spotify-Playlist
A book like "Lost in the Beauty of Bad Weather" by Christophe Jacrot takes the viewer on a journey. The photos in the book transport us in an instant to the rain, the fog or the snowstorm. Sceneries from which Jacrot draws their special magic and which have an inherent relaxing calm. Grandiose, melancholic photographs that carry a special mood. In his photographs, one sees empty streets that seem almost mystical in the very special light conditions of the bad weather fronts. Few people, reduced, concentrated scenes, framed by snowflakes or raindrops, this essence in the pictures is what makes Jacrot's photographs so attractive to his fans.
As we know that music can also evoke, carry or even intensify moods, we wanted to increase the emotional immersion for the readers of the book and have put together a playlist together with Christophe Jacrot. Music by the Fleet Foxes, Elbow and White Lies are included, as well as the Icelandic singer Björk. Christophe Jacrot has a special relationship with her music:
"I listened to her music for hours and hours when I was travelling in lonely Iceland in winter! There is a secret link between her and the Icelandic landscape..."
That's why the Spotify playlist starts with one of the most beautiful Björk songs ever.
We hope you enjoy the book "Lost in the Beauty of Bad Weather" and the accompanying Spotify playlist!
