Their success story began in New York City. In the 1980s, under Hendrik teNeues, the grandson of the company founder, the teNeues Publishing Company was founded in the American metropolis. In addition to art prints, greeting cards and calendars, the product range initially grew to include stationery and merchandising, and in 1984 the portfolio was finally expanded to include illustrated books. The beginning of a success story!
