Born in Poland and raised in the USA, Lukasz Palka has lived in Tokyo since 2008. He is a street photographer, urban explorer and, above all, an attentive observer of the everyday life of his fellow human beings. His art consists solely of wandering around and attentively observing whatever he happens to come across. For him, the camera is merely a toy that makes this wandering around and letting himself be seen even more exciting. Thus, Lukasz's photography is actually only a by-product of his "walks" - but one that lets us experience that magical condensation of time and atmosphere that makes street photography so unique and fascinating.
