Born in Hanover in 1963, Silke Pfersdorf is a veteran journalist, columnist, and book author whose work appears regularly in major magazines and newspapers, including Brigitte, Stern, Madame, Cosmopolitan, DU-Schweizer Kulturmagazin, Elle Decoration, Geo Saison and Süddeutsche Zeitung. She is also known for her column Schätzchen, wo kommst du denn her? (Translation: Where did you come from, you little treasure?) in Living at Home, where she spotlights design classics on a monthly basis. Silke Pfersdorf has two grown children and lives in Hamburg.
